The national poisons helpline 1774 is open to the public from Monday to Sunday between 8:00 and 20:00.
important information
In the event of a suspected poisoning outside the helpline’s hours, members of the public are encouraged to visit a health centre or the Emergency Department, depending on the severity of the case.
Clinical Toxicologists continue to offer a 24/7 advisory service to medical doctors working in these entities.
