Welcome to the website of the Malta National Poisons Centre.
The national poisons helpline 1774 is open to the public from Monday to Sunday between 8:00 and 20:00.
important information
In the event of suspected poisoning outside of the helpline hours, members of the public are encouraged to go to the nearest health centre or the Emergency Department, depending on the severity of the case.
Clinical Toxicologists continue to offer advice 24 hours a day to doctors working in these entities.
