The Malta National Poisons Centre is made up of a multidisciplinary team of clinical toxicologists, pharmacists, nurses and scientific officers. Each member of the team brings with them professional knowledge and experience that helps to provide a safe, informed and quality service. Through close collaboration, the team supports the prevention, assessment and management of poisoning cases. This approach helps to ensure that the advice given is clear, clinically sound, evidence-based and adapted to the needs of healthcare professionals and the public.
